OS X El Capitan


Apple OS X El Capitan, the latest version of the Mac operating system, builds on the groundbreaking features and beautiful design introduced in OS X Yosemite, refining the experience and improving performance in lots of ways that you’ll enjoy everyday. El Capitan introduces enhancements to window management, built-in apps and Spotlight search, and makes everyday activities — from launching apps to accessing email — faster and more responsive.   • Fixes an issue where applying a configuration profile to setallowSpotlightInternetResults to False would cause Spotlight to use large amounts of CPU time.
