Dia is an AI-first web browser from The Browser Company of New York—the team behind Arc. Now in public beta for macOS, it treats artificial intelligence as a built-in layer of the browser rather than a separate app or plugin.
Instead of a plain address bar, Dia offers an always-on assistant you can chat with. Ask it to summarise a page, draft an email, translate a paragraph or compare prices, and the assistant quietly calls the best-suited AI model for the job behind the scenes.
The interface groups tools around the things people do most online: Write, Learn, Plan and Shop. That means inline copy-editing in any text box, instant video or article breakdowns, one-click to-do lists pulled from your highlights, and rapid product reviews or price checks—without jumping between tabs.
Dia keeps this intelligence local. Browsing data and prompts stay encrypted on your device, and you choose what (if anything) is shared.
Note:
Dia has now opened registration for Arc users. You only need to use the email registered with Arc to download and sign up to use Dia. If you don’t have an Arc account, you can directly download Arc to register, and then sign up for Dia.
